would you believe i'm posting this entry with my cell phone?! Nothing else exciting. Stay warm up north.
(edited 9:20PM) FINALLY!! Turns out I was sending this to the wrong place. I originally tried to post it this morning from work and just now figured out what I had done wrong.

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood
Just felt like posting this morning since I'm in such a good mood. It's almost scary how cheerful I am today. It is cold out but the sun is shining bright. I'm super excited because tonight I'm going to eat dinner with a fellow Army wife. We have been friends now for about 4 years. Her husband works with Henry. We've agreed that about once a week, we're going to swap making dinner for one another or just going out somewhere sometimes. So I get a nice meal but don't have to cook or spend money or eat alone!! YAY
Then I got a call from Henry. Thought the day couldn't get any better and it did! Hope you're having a great day as well.

TAXES
AAARRRRGGGHHHH!!!!
I've started working on our taxes since I just got Henry's W-2 (yet to get mine). I would pay someone else to do them for me but the last time I did that, they seemed almost as clueless about our mess as I was, plus I can use and file for free with a couple different places online because Henry's military. The problem is when Henry signed up for the Army we were living in Indiana but it wasn't our permanent residence because we were in college. Well when you enlist they set whatever state you sign up in as your home state. It wasn't that big of a problem before because we were using Pennsylvania as our permanent residence and Indiana and PA have a "reciprocal agreement" so the taxes taken out by Indiana were just sent to PA and we wouldn't owe anything. But now that we have been living in NC for sometime and my job is here and they don't have the "reciprocal agreement" with IN, it looks like we'll have to pay a bunch to NC. But I haven't entered any of my stuff yet so maybe it will change.

Absence
It worked!! Took me a little while to figure out how to do it, but I added a video. I bought these bears for Henry and was thinking of saving them to send for Valentine's Day but decided to give them now. He loves them! For the first two days he wouldn't stop making them kiss.
So was "absent" for the last few days. Its busy and stressful here with D-day fast approaching. We have been shopping (yes, WE, because Henry still hasn't gotten a new debit card) for all the stuff he wants/needs to take. Plus Henry is sick with a terrible cold. I've spent 2 nights on the couch because of his snoring or coughing. Hopefully he'll be better before he has to leave.
